Congratulations to the Peel Metropolitan Horse and Pony Club for their success at the 2002 Solid Gold Dressage Championships where they were winners of the Oakover Terena Musical Ride trophy from a strong field of 16 entries! Well done to the knights and maidens of Camelot: Michelle, Katie, Kendal, Suzie, Michelle, Courtney, Gemma, Gabriella, Kimberley, Danielle and Nikita! |

Peel Metropolitan Horse and Pony Club prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and does not encourage excessive competiveness amongst it's members. Recently we received an email form a competitor at one of our open gymkhanas which suggests that we are successful in our aims. Hi, I just wanted to say that I attended the Hack show today at Peel Horse and Pony Club and just wanted to say what a great day it was. It is so nice to go to a show where everyone is relaxed and friendly and support and congratulate each other on their results in the ring. Too many shows today are spoilt by greedy "ribbon hunters" who just go from show to show and don't have the time of day for anyone just starting out or without all the "fancy gear". A much appreciated added bonus was the fact it was unplaited, far less hassle! Please, please, please do more of these!! many thanks |
